1. From Chennai (320km)

By bus (fastest and popular)

Take a SETC / TNSTC bus from Chennai Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G.R. Bus Terminus to Nagore. Journey time: 5–7.5 hours (non‑stop buses are available). From Nagore bus stand, you can reach the Dargha by auto‑rickshaw (5–10 minutes) or on foot.

By train

Take a direct or connecting passenger train from Chennai Egmore to Nagore Railway Station (schedule varies). From Nagore station, use a local auto or bus to the Dargha (around 1–2 km).

By car / taxi

Drive via NH32 → Cuddalore → Nagapattinam → Nagore. Approx. driving time: 5–6 hours, depending on traffic.

2. From Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) (160 km)

By road

Drive or take a bus via Trichy → Thanjavur → Tiruvarur → Nagapattinam → Nagore. From Nagapattinam, frequent buses and autos run to Nagore.

By train

Take a train from Tiruchirappalli to Nagore or Karaikal (often via Tiruvarur). From Nagore station, auto‑rickshaws and local buses will take you directly to the Dargha.

By car / taxi

Drive via Trichy → Thanjavur → Nagapattinam → Nagore. Approx. driving time: 2.5–3.5 hours, depending on traffic and route.

3. From Bangalore (450 km)

By bus

Take a direct or connecting bus from Bangalore to Nagapattinam or Velankanni (via Chennai or Trichy) as well as everyday Fast passenger train is available from SMVT Bengaluru to Nagore at 07:30AM. Journey time: approximately 10–13 hours, depending on the route and operator. From Nagapattinam or Velankanni, you can reach Nagore Dargha by taxi, auto‑rickshaw, or local bus (about 15–25 minutes).

By train

Take a train from KSR Bengaluru (SBC) / YPR to Nagore or nearby stations like Mayiladuthurai, then take a local bus or auto to Nagore Dargha. Approx. total travel time: 12–14 hours, depending on connections.

By car / taxi

Drive via Bangalore → Hosur → Krishnagiri → Salem → Erode → Tiruchirappalli → Thanjavur → Nagapattinam → Nagore. Approx. driving time: 7–8 hours non‑stop (but pilgrims usually plan for 9–10 hours with breaks).

4. From Mumbai (1500 km)

By train

Take a train from Mumbai (LTT / CSMT / BCT / BSL) to Nagapattinam or Karaikal (via Chennai or Trichy) also there is a weekly train from Mumbai-LTT to Nagore by weekly once at every Saturday. Travel time: approximately 24–28 hours. From there, take a local bus, train, or taxi to Nagore Dargha (10–20 minutes).

By bus

Take a long‑distance bus from Mumbai to Nagapattinam or Velankanni (via Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai etc.). Journey time: about 20–24 hours. From Nagapattinam or Velankanni, use a taxi, auto, or bus to reach Nagore Dargha.

By flight + train

Fly from Mumbai to Trichy (TRZ) or Chennai (MAA), then take a train or bus from Trichy / Chennai to Nagore. Flight + train total time: about 6–8 hours (faster, but more expensive).

5. From Delhi (2500 km)

By train

Take a train from New Delhi / Delhi Junction to Chennai Egmore and then Chennai → Nagore. Total travel time: about 38–44 hours. From Nagore station, use an auto or bus to the Dargha (1–2 km).

By flight + train/bus

Fly from Delhi to Chennai (MAA) or Trichy (TRZ), then take a train or bus to Nagore. Flight plus train: about 6–8 hours total (faster, but more expensive).

6. From Hyderabad (1000 km)

By bus

Take a bus from Hyderabad (Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station or Jubilee Bus Station) to Chennai, then transfer to a bus from Chennai → Nagore. Approx. total time: 14–18 hours. From Nagore bus stand, auto or walk to Dargha.

By train

Take a train from Hyderabad (SC/Secunderabad or Kacheguda) to Trichy or Chennai Egmore, then change to a train or bus to Nagore. Total time: about 20–22 hours.

By flight + train

Fly from Hyderabad (HYD) to Trichy (TRZ) or Chennai (MAA), then take a train or bus to Nagore. Total time: about 6–8 hours (fastest but costlier).

7. From Karaikal (15 km)

By bus

Karikal has frequent local buses and auto‑rickshaws running to Nagore (20–30 minutes). If you arrive by Karaikal (Bus), local transport to Nagore Dargha is easily available.

6. From Nagapattinam town (7 km)

Nagapattinam has frequent local buses and auto‑rickshaws running to Nagore (15–20 minutes). If you arrive by Nagapattinam Junction (rail), local transport to Nagore Dargha is easily available.

Tips for Visitors

• From Nagore Railway Station or bus stand, the Dargha complex is within walking distance (1–2 km) or a short auto‑ride.
• Use Google Maps / Waze on your phone with the destination set as “Nagore Dargha Shariff” for real‑time directions.
• Confirm local opening hours and any special days (Urs, festivals) before travel to avoid crowd or closures.
